The noisy and unsightly substation is clearly visible prior to the acoustic barrier being erected.	The 2mtr high acoustic barrier erected on a 1.5mtr soil bund, softening the appearance and providing additional height to the screen.

Groundcover and climbing plants have been added to give seasonal colour and create a haven for wildlife.	Gates have been erected using the same sound absorbing materials.

The Green Barrier is available in either woven or living willow, specially selected varieties of willow grown for their longevity and attractive coloured stems allow the creation of a unique stockade available in a range of heights suitable for most ground conditions and locations. The environmentally sustainable Green barrier rapidly becomes home to birds, insects and butterflies and if it is living it changes with the seasons. The RockDelta^® soundproof core is tested to international standards, and reduces noise levels considerably. The external structure covering the soundproof core is made from woven willow. It is environmentally friendly, blends well with the natural landscape and provides an attractive acoustic and visual screen.
